Jim (Wolfe, my producer and co-writer) was in a grocery on a rainy fall day in the Pacific Northwest and wearing, typically for those who know him, Hawaiian board shorts. Someone commented to him, "Hey love the shorts!" and he smiling, replied back, "Hey, Summer's just a state of mind!" He promptly turned around, drove home and instantly started writing. Both he and I were happy to focus on some creative work that was positive in the midst of the gloom and doom you hear so much of on the news. We're both big believes in good attitudes making a big difference! Hope it encourages you to smile no matter the weather or situation!
