Yesterday the band and I (we're collectively called Zona Calda) had the most glorious day with the folks at Jazz and Oysters down in Oysterville (why not? what else?), Washington. If you haven't been to this darling Jazz Festival, well, make plans to go next year. I certainly am! Loved every minute! Thank you Jazz and Oysters!

I love podcasts! There are quite a few that I religiously listen to: Brian Preston's "The Money Guy", The Dave Ramsey Show and NPR's Car Talk are three. One of my absolute favorites is called "The Accidental Creative" and it's geared for people who want or need to be creative as part of their jobs - guess what, that's all of us, yo!

One day this week, I woke up to hear birds singing and see the sun - gasp!- shining. I jumped out of bed, grabbed my heavy coat and took a lovely walk. Now, I'm a firm believer in having times of quiet. But this morning, I also had my "Accidental Creative" podcast playing through my earbuds.

I'm so glad I did!

The conversation was about getting things done and done well, done with "elegance". (How sweet is that word!) It kicked the rest of my day into productivity heaven. One thing I came up with is my need for systems in managing my time. So I came up with a few. I'm really hoping it will help me get more done more elegantly. :)
